The Barkleys was an animated comedy on NBC's Saturday morning line-up.
Ostensibly it was a cartoon All in the Family with a canine cast. Arnie Barkley is the patriarch of the household, and he has a job as a bus driver. His family consists of wife Agnes, sons Chester and Roger, and daughter Terri. It dealt with social issues such as the economy and women's liberation as well as had atypical sitcom scripts.
