Hope for Haiti is a two-hour telethon special which aired on January 22, 2010. Originating with MTV and also airing on other MTV Networks channels (VH1, CMT and BET), CNN and HBO, as well as all five major broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and The CW), the telethon was held to raise funds for earthquake relief in Haiti following the devastating earthquake in that country on January 12, 2010.
